Using wood for heating is as practical and convenient as using oil or gas. Wood is a natural and environmentally friendly fuel that can be replenished in significant quantities. It burns in a way that does not increase carbon dioxide levels and helps avoid reliance upon fuels from unstable parts of the world.
From both an economic and environmental perspective, wood is the perfect source of fuel, whether in the form of logs, pellets or wood chips. For pellets and wood chips, the fuel is moved automatically from the storage area to the boiler. Combustion occurs based upon your heat demand and the specific times and temperatures set by your control system.
