Heizen mit Holz ist ähnlich komfortabel wie Heizen mit Öl oder Gas. Pellets- und Hackgutkessel (Hackschnitzelkessel) sind vollautomatische Heizsysteme, welche ähnlich wie Öl- oder Gasheizungen funktionieren. Der Brennstoff wird von einem Lagerraum automatisch zum Kessel befördert. Je nach Regelung ist auch die Anbindung von Solaranlagen, Zweitkesseln und anderer Komponenten möglich. Auch Stückgutheizungen bieten einen hohen Bedienkomfort, zum Beispiel in der Ausstattung mit einer automatischen Zündung.

As local wood is usually used for both firewood and wood chips, prices have been stable for years, whereas oil and gas prices continue to rocket.

Für jene, die Stückholz und Pellets verfeuern möchten gibt es ebenfalls eine Lösung: die sogenannten Kombikessel. So nutzt man den Vorteile eines Stückgutkessels und eines vollautomatischen Heizsystems.

CO2 neutral
When trees grow they take carbon dioxide (CO2) out of the air. When we burn wood this carbon dioxide is returned to the atmosphere. The amount of CO2 released during burning is the same as the amount released by normal rotting and decay in forests and woods. Heating with fuels made from wood is therefore heating the natural, environment-friendly way.
